The high elevations and mountainous regions of Ethiopia make for excellent growing conditions. There are more than a thousand varieties of coffee beans grown within the country. Because coffee plants grow naturally in Ethiopia, most of them are under shade, among other plants, and without the use of agricultural chemicals. Ethiopian coffees will often have a great taste of citrus, orange and flowers. We've selected 2 complimentary yet distrinct coffees for our Ethiopia selection. Shonora Station ETHIOPIA by Volcano Coffee Works is a top notch quality and a great example of naturally processed Ethiopian beans, resulting in a very clean yet complex cup. Beshasha by Wolfox Organic Coffee Roasters is a very clean and delicate coffee with high citrus lemony acidic notes, balanced with floral aroma and hints of raisins. Both coffees make a moderate intensity cup and are a great choice for refined filter brew. We think they are best enjoyed black.
