Carmela

Finca El Salvador Piemonte by Volcano Coffee Works is a very light and clean coffee examplifying the typical caramel/honey-like sweetness characteristic of El Salvador origin beans. This light roast coffee showcases great complexity & depth of flavour notes with grapefruit zing, caramel & milk chocolate sweetness with nutty & spicy undertones. Even brewed as filter this coffee makes a vibrant cup with moderate intensity and also tastes great as a fruity espresso. We recommend to enjoy this coffee black.

Single Origin

El Salvador

Finca El Salvador

El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America yet it is a renowned global coffee origin. Almost all coffee produced is shade grown, maintaining the biodiversity of the country. Bourbon, Pacas, and Pacamara are three of the most common varietals grown in El Salvador. Coffee plants are grown at a broad range of altitudes, benefitting from rich, volcanic soil, and high rainfall between May and October. The harvest season typically runs from December to March, peaking in January. Coffee beans in Finca EL SALVADOR Piemonte have been sourced from a family owned farm by Rodolfo Battle which was established in the 1920s. The farm is located at an altitude range of about 1,450 to 1,640 meters above sea level and it is about 70 hectares, plus 20 hectares of wild forest.
