Meet our roaster community
Behind each fantastic coffee are talented craftsmen and growers. Here are some of the UK roasters we are proud to spotlight.
Redemption Roasters
Hemel Hempstead
Redemption Roasters is the world’s first prison-based coffee company. All of Redemption’s coffee is roasted at their roastery inside HMP The Mount, proving the company ethos that ‘exceptional coffee can come from people and places you wouldn’t expect’. Existing to reduce reoffending through coffee, Redemption runs barista academies in three prisons alongside a community coffee school training people at risk of crime.

Volcano Coffee Works

Volcano Coffee Works was founded by Kurt Stewart in 2010 as an ethical roastery that would bring the great tasting coffees he had grown up with in New Zealand to the UK, while supporting the livelihoods of the communities who grow and produce it. We believe coffee can be a force for good. We believe in environmentally sustainable and ethically traded coffee, and work with partners all over the world who actively engage community-based improvements – which is how we proudly got certified B Corp & Carbon Neutral. We make quality specialty coffee approachable – making it a great offering for entry level specialty drinkers and connoisseurs alike!

Deluxe Coffeeworks
Acton, London
We can trace our roots back to Wellington, New Zealand. That cool, funky place where the Havana Coffee empire was built. In fact, we are named after one of the oldest and most famous cafes in Wellington.Since our inception in 2009, over a couple of beers, between our founders Carl and Judd, we have grown into a one-of-a-kind coffee roaster and coffee shop destination in Southern Africa and London, with even bigger ambitions. We may have started as a backyard roaster, but we are of the spark that created the explosion of the coffee culture we have in South Africa today. We have a strong oral tradition. Our stories are told and retold, and become part of the fabric of our clan. We assimilate our people. There are no hard and fast rules. Boundaries are clearly drawn but within that is complete freedom of expression, where individual personalities can flourish. We are human after all, not robots! Here there are no script to regurgitate. We talk from experience, and with love and passion. That energy as a business permeates everything we do. There is something intangible, a certain magic or alchemy that permeates our organisation. Alchemy that is made up of people, attitude, and a true passion for coffee, and making people happy every day.

Our dynamic little team is fiercely passionate about coffee, people, and making positive change in the world around them.
